The Veda of melody in its Kauthuma recension — mantras of the Pūrvārcika and Uttarārcika. Bhagavān said in Shrimadbhagavada gītā chapter 10 śloka 22: वेदानां सामवेदोऽस्मि. sāmaved is truly the śiromaṇi of the vedas. As such one should definitely read the sāmaved and learn.
